VGN is an Association, with several targets. One of these targets is to encourage theoretical and technical skills of the Dutch Cast Technicians.
The Dutch Cast Technician is treating patients with disorders of Human supporting structure and movement appliance. With the help of a large range of materials, the Cast Tech attempts to (im)mobilise, to correct or to support several parts of the human body. He or she hereby uses all kinds of bandages, ortheses, prosthesis and several extension or traction techniques. |
